Two weeks ago I didn't think I'd get to the point where I wanted to start a website. When the idea started taking shape, and the phase of choosing a name kicked in, I fell into the same place that too many people fall into - the name. And like many people in my situation, I went straight into the loop of... well - AI. What goes well with AI. I'm experienced enough to know right then and there that the chance of finding both a good name and an available name is slim. And then the model suggested this name to me. Just like that. Simple.
This is just one example of many on how in certain cases, if you know how to use this intelligence to your advantage, you come out on top.
AI is not a dirty word.
There's a scene in HEAT - the 1995 Michael Mann film - that's lived inside my head for almost thirty years. Neil McCauley, played by De Niro, is a top-tier robber. He doesn't take simple scores - only the very best, the ones where he knows the heat around the corner won't catch him. And he does everything necessary before the job to make sure of it.
In this scene, he comes to Kelso - the hacker he works with. McCauley is looking at the data Kelso brought him. He's impressed. He asks:
"How do you get this information?"
Kelso answers:
"It just comes to you. This stuff just flies through the air. They send this information out. I mean, it's just beamed out all over the fucking place. You just gotta know how to grab it. See, I know how to grab it."
Kelso was played by Tom Noonan, who passed away on February 14, 2026. Less than three minutes on screen and he made it unforgettable. Rest in peace.
That quote is not just a movie line to me. It's how I operate.
Information flies through the air. Every day. Numbers, signals, opportunities - you just need to know how to grab them. I know how to grab them. Not because I'm smarter. Because I've trained myself to recognize what matters and to ignore what doesn't.
And this site will focus on how you can distill all the best things about AI to your advantage on the one hand, and on the other hand, it will show how to avoid falling into the traps that those who understand less in this world fall into.
And this post you just read? This is the first example.
